Mulberry, Florida
Area Manager
Tindell Cobb
While Tindell is a first-generation railroader, growing up, he spent a lot of time in the shop where his grandfather worked as a locomotive mechanic. Shortly after graduating high school, he decided to follow in his grandfather’s footsteps in the railroad industry and started his career with C.J. Bridges Railroad Contractor as a track laborer in 1997. After spending a couple of years working as a Trackman, he was moved into a Welder’s Helper position and trained as a Track Welder. Once promoted to Welder, he performed thermite welding, track welding, and various fabrication duties until he was promoted to Foreman in 2003. In his time as a Foreman, he worked throughout the Southeast completing new construction projects and performing maintenance and derailment repairs until his promotion to Superintendent in 2010. Since then, he has stayed on through the founding of American Track and carried on the company tradition of providing quality and timely service to all our valued customers. Tindell began serving as Area Manager for the Mulberry location in 2023. Away from work, Tindell enjoys spending time with his wife and children. He is active in his son’s baseball and his daughter’s softball programs. In his spare time, he enjoys music, spending time outdoors, working on vehicles, and traveling to the mountains when time permits. He takes pride in knowing his customers can count on him for expert service 24/7. Whether it’s a split switch, broken rail, or derailment, his customers know they can reach him at any time for prompt, professional repairs. When asked about his commitment to his customers, he is quick to respond: “The success of our business depends on our customers keeping trains rolling. Our customers trust us to keep them rolling. Our customers’ trust, our company name, and our reputation are on the line with every project we do. My name and reputation are on the line with every project we do. And that I take very seriously.”
