Matt Prince began his railroad career in 1998 with the Tennessee Southern Railroad (TSRR), starting as a track laborer and signal maintainer. Over the years, he advanced through a variety of roles within the organization, including working in the locomotive shop, serving as a certified locomotive engineer, roadmaster, and ultimately General Manager. During his tenure, he also oversaw several transload sites, gaining broad operational experience.

In 2006, TSRR was acquired by Patriot Rail, where he continued to serve as General Manager until 2012. Following his time at Patriot Rail, he transitioned into the manufacturing sector, taking on the role of Manager of Procurement and Maintenance at an aluminum foundry.

His passion for the railroad industry brought him back as Director of Operations for Continental Rail, where he managed operations for the Delta Southern Railroad in Louisiana. Building on this experience, he went on to form CWC Rail, Inc., where he successfully re-opened a shortline railroad in southeast Colorado. In this role, he served as contract General Manager, provided labor and equipment for track maintenance and inspections, and led train operations.

With over two decades of hands-on experience and leadership across multiple facets of the railroad industry, Matt continues to be a trusted expert in rail operations, project management, and infrastructure development.
