American Track’s Pennsylvania location was originally established in 2000 as, The Railroad Associates Corporation, (TRAC). American Track acquired TRAC in March of 2022. Our Pennsylvania location provides specialized railroad maintenance, rehabilitation, new construction, and inspection services to a wide range of industrial customers, municipalities, short line, and mainline customers.

Ed Williams

Ed Williams joined American Track in February 2023. Ed is a 2013 Drexel University graduate with a BS in Construction Management. He began his career in the railroad industry with Railroad Construction Company (RCC), Inc in Paterson, NJ as a Project Engineer. Ed worked with RCC for over 7 years, having a hand in major projects such as the DRPA/PATCO Ben Franklin Bridge rehab, Massachusetts DOT Commonwealth Ave Bridge Replacement, and Foxboro Freight Second Track program. While with RCC, Ed also worked to establish a reliable customer service for railroads in the Greater Philadelphia, South Jersey, and Delmarva Peninsula area. Ed also brings civil and site construction experience to our team after having spent one year with MECO Constructors and one year with Allan Myers. Each of those experiences exposed him to performing site earthwork, drainage, concrete construction, and utility construction. As Area Manager, Ed is responsible for crew and equipment allocation, project scheduling and coordination, project estimation, and on-site coordination between work crews and site owners for the Pennsylvania Division.
